Overview:

The pirate life, for most, is full of adventure, trials, and triumphs. However, there is only a couple of opportunities in a pirate's life that could establish a lasting legacy for their name and their accomplishments.

This is why when Marina Marquis, one of the most revered pirates of the emerald isles, returned with the promise of you to attain such status, you jumped at the prospect.

She has returned with a Siren scale, a scale that has triggered a distant, ethereal call. Follow the call to a cove. This cove, only talked about in legends, is said to provide enough gold to fill ten galleon ships. Be the first to find this cove and get rewarded handsomely.

With incomprehensible treasure on the mind, will you proceed with caution knowing that legends and folklore often have a darker side - a side of unpredictability and turmoil? Or will you throw caution to the wind and set sail to establish your new legacy?

LORE

(read prior to your experience)

Braving the sea in hopes of gold and glory has become a common sight in the emerald isles. People fighting for prestige and wealth have caused port cities and trade routes between nations to become overtly hostile environments.

Being a Pirate used to be for the lowlifes of society; the outcasts, the people that didn’t want to be confined to the rules and restrictions of the capital and royal cabinet residing in the citadel. That is, until the reward for such a lifestyle became more appealing.

You see, it all started as fireside stories and mere rumors. The promise of unfathomable gold; so much gold, it would take ten galleons to carry. The story told by traveling circuses, strange tent-dwelling fortune tellers, and the sea-hardened deckhands were this:

“For those in search of glory, turn back. For those in search of riches, if riches are what you seek, follow the call. Follow the call of the siren. For the siren beckons you to a hidden cove, bursting with gold, jewels, and eternal wealth.”

It would be commonplace to shrug this tale off as just another pirate story seafaring criminals tell themselves to pass the time. That is until one of the most prolific pirates of the time invigorated the Emerald Isles with possible validity to the tale, and the race was on. Her name is Marina Marquis. She had returned from a trip from a place that doesn’t exist on any nautical maps; she called it Oars Rest. She proclaimed that on her most recent expedition, she has found a way to harness the call of the siren, and it would lead them to Siren’s Cove. Though the sea being vast and full of unpredictability, she enlisted the help of some of the greatest pirates the Emerald Isles has to offer.

This is where you come in. Marina Marquis has chosen you and your crew, along with many others, to help find Siren’s Cove. The first crew to find it will obtain a majority share of the treasure and will provide the other groups with a smaller portion for their aid in the cumulative effort.

Marina Marquis has given you a majestic siren scale that she obtained from Oars Rest. You can hear the call, the Siren. Follow this call; the Siren beckons you. Find the hidden cove, for your reputation and the promise of forever fortune, lay in the balance.

Sail carefully, for sometimes, the truths of legend and tales of the sea are best left for whispers in the wind.
